Autumn Leaf Collection
If you have fallen leaves on your school grounds, you can use them as the starting point for a number of mathematical investigations.
Go on a leaf hunt and have your class decide on three of their 'favourite' leaves. You could also ask the children to bring in three leaves from their own garden. Place the leaves in a pile and encourage the class to decide how to sort them. more >>
